Rachel Stevens was born on April 9, 1978 in England. It's a pop singer who occasionally works as a model and actress. He was part of successful teen group S Club 7, and at its dissolution signed a 1.5 million pounds with Polydor Ltd. UK, becoming the first component alone post.

His first single was "Sweet Dreams My LA Ex", released in September 2003.
The single was a hit in the UK, debuting at # 2 in the British sales charts, racing hit 'Where's The Love "the American group The Black Eyed Peas. Rachel was inspired R & B music of more recent groups such as TLC and Sugababes, and adult style of Madonna's pop music and released his first album "Funky Dory" a month later. The album was a minor hit, reaching # 9 on the British charts and falling fast in its second week, peaking at # 58 and # 91 in the third.

In December, their second single entitled "Funky Dory" was a failure, peaking at # 26 and quickly disappearing from the UK sales charts. In July 2004, Rachel released a new single: "Some Girls", which was a great success both in the UK and Europe. This single reached # 2 in UK. Criticism, saying it was hailed as the best single that Rachel had done in his career to date. During the launch and success of 'Some Girls' album "Funky Dory" was reprinted, including this and a new single, "More, More, More."

In late 2004, Rachel began working on their second album with producer Richard X, Alexis Strum and Xenomania (Girls Aloud group producer who has worked with Kylie Minogue and Sophie Ellis-Bextor). In March it launched the first single from their second album "Negotiate With Love ', in which reached # 10 in UK. It was followed by the single "So Good", published in July, which also reached # 10 in the UK. The album, titled "Come & Get It" , was released in October 2005 and failed in the UK charts reaching # 28 in its first week, and falling to # 78 in the second. "Come & Get It" only sold 18.000 copies in the UK during the first three months, making up a huge failure for both the singer to the label. Interestingly, two years later, The Guardian placed it on its list of 1000 albums you should hear before dying (1000 albums you hear Must Before You Die ).

The last single released was "I Said Never Again [But Here We Are]", published in October 2005, which reached # 12 in UK. After the failure of the album, there were rumors that the fourth single would be "Nothing Good About This Goodbye" or "Crazy Boys" but none were published. Also rumored in January 2006, Rachel may be fired from Polydor Records, and although by then the company would not leave, it appears that shortly after he did (was withdrawn from the list of artists on its website).

In May 2008 gave an interview in which he said he was working on his back with an estimated date between late 2008 and early 2009, although little is known. In early 2008 he recorded the demo of singer Alexis Strum "Coming on Strong" renamed to "No One Does It Better" with some changes to the bill, considered the first advance single from the album.
